This project was created as my major project for my degree in Visual Communication Design. The brief was to identify a problem and an audience, and then design a solution. The problem I decided to tackle was young people entering adulthood with gaps in their life skills. Major issues I wanted to address were lack of easy access to classes aimed at young adults, and embarrassment or shame surrounding learning as an adult.
'dabble' is a framework designed to facilitate the learning of life skills for young adults in third level education. The framework allows participating third level institutions to work alongside volunteer student mentors to facilitate on-campus, peer-to-peer learning. 'dabble' creates space for easy to access and easy going learning, adaptable to every student and every campus. The tone of the campaign is self-deprecating, and gives room for young people to embrace learning without expectations of excellence.
