This project was made as my submission to the ISTD, for which I was awarded membership of the society.
'The Irish Pub Collection' is a two-part publication that tells the story of the Irish Pub and how it came to be a global icon and representative of Irish identity. Book one 'The Irish pub story' consists of a collection of essays on the origins of the Irish pub and how it became a the institution it is today. Book two 'The Irish pub index' is a comparative study of global Irish pubs and how they display their Irishness through the lens of typography.
